Members of St. John's Lutheran Church recognize the vital importance of Christian education in the lives of children, and therefore support the school as part of the church's overall mission program.

The combined costs of salaries and benefits, supplies, books, materials, equipment, maintenance, insurance, and facilities are a considerable commitment made by the congregation. St. John's Lutheran Church provides financial support through scholarships and subsidies to keep fees as low as possible, enabling more families to enroll in the school.

We strongly believe that tuition is not simply a fee for educational instruction; it is an investment in your child’s future and his eternal life.

REGISTRATION FEE is an annual fee payable at registration. The fee covers instructional materials, field trips, health supplies & services, technology costs, and other learning expenses that generally benefit all students. This fee does not cover optional uses such as band fees, athletic fees, hot lunches, overnight class trips, or extended care.

The fee is non-refundable unless the student does not meet the criteria for acceptance, or if classroom space is unavailable, or for other exceptional reasons such as the family moving out of the area.

TECHNOLOGY FEE: $150 per student (due by August 20). Helps fund student technology advances that benefit learning.

TUITION is paid by through TADS (tuition management program) and covers most, but not all, personnel and administrative expenses. In brief, registration fees pay for materials that students use while tuition helps cover the professional services of teachers and staff. St. John’s Lutheran Church provides facilities plus additional financial support for operating the school program.

Our base tuition fee is $6,157 for the 2017-2018 school year. Members of St. John’s Lutheran Church (Arnold), other LCMS churches, and "active-duty” military families receive a discounted tuition rate:

Notes:

Multi-child discounts are built into the payment charts shown above.

Kindergarten discount for eligible students.

Financial Peace University discount for eligible families.

10-month payment plans begin in August (last payment in May).

12-month payment plans begin in June (last payment in May).

One annual payment (due by August 20) includes a 2% discount.
